- Course Description: This course follows EPA’s Model Accreditation Program Curriculum and meets the AHERA asbestos training requirements. Topics include: Asbestos background and identification, health effects, inspector functions, legal considerations, building systems, occupant relations, inspection planning and procedures, sampling and documentation, PPE and respiratory protection, record keeping, regulatory review, and hands-on exercises. Successful completion of the course will require passing the examination with a score of at least 70%.
